Baileys Truffles
Baileys Grove Dark Chocolate Truffles
Make these Valentines Day Truffles for your sweatheart today. They will make your heart melt when you bite into one of these heavenly chocolates!
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 tspn vanilla
5 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
9 ounces Dark Chocolate - I used Dark Organic Chips
Step 1: Microwave 6 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teapoon vanilla and 5 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream in the microwave for about 70 seconds or until boiling. The butter did not melt but it’s okay just stir it together when you pull it out and it will melt.
Step 2: Mix in the chocolate and using a whisk stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Since I used extremely dark chocolate I added 1/3 cup powder sugar to the melted Chocolate - It needed a lift of sweetness but this is optional and really depends on how dark or sweet you like your truffles
Step 3: refrigerate for a couple of hours until cool and hardened.
Step 4: using a small spoon scoop out about 2 teaspoons or so of chocolate, Roll in your hands, then roll in powdered sugar.
