Korean Bibimbap Photo Guide
First Let’s Make the Bibimbap meat.
Normally it calls for steak but this is Wednesday. We are using Ground Beef!
 
            
          Onions and Sesame Oil
 
            
          Sauté on high heat
 
            
          Add the Ground Beef
 
            
          Season with Salt and Pepper
 
            
          Add the Gojang Sauce
Add Tamari or Soy Sauce
Add Mirin
Add Rice Wine Vinegar
Add Brown Sugar
 
            
          Add Regular and Black Sesame Seeds
Add Sirachi
Add Ginger - Optional
Ginger
 
            
          Brown it. I mean really brown it
 
            
          Even browner!
No liquid should remain when you are finished
Now Prepare the Veggies
 
            
          Shredded Carrots
Sesame Oil and Garlic
 
            
          Sauté
And add Sesame Seeds, Salt and Pepper
 
            
          Not too brown!
Sauté for about 5 minutes on Medium
 
            
          Onions and Sesame Oil
 
            
          Add Gojang Paste
Onions Take about 10 minutes to sauté
 
            
          Mushrooms
Salt, Peper, Sesame Oil
 
            
          A bit of Sauce Soy or Tamari
3 - 5 Minutes on high
 
            
          Spinach
With Sesame Oil, Salt, Pepper, Garlic
 
            
          Keep the Veggies together
Ready to assemble!
